Finally got my JDM IX rear bumper in from gruppe-S ( well, not finally got it from them, got it in about 3 weeks since I orderred it, so not to bad) so here are a couple of pictures for you guys( before install)-

I know it's yellow, but since there is no GG, didn't matter what came, I have to repaint anyways.

MY question is this, those of you with the JDM rears know the center section is a grey color not unlike the GG on our USDM cars, now I submit this question:
Should I...
a) leave it the grey and it'll almost color match
b) have it painted black

What do you guys think?

 

Sucks that the Evo 9 bumpers don't come in Graphite Grey. How much does it cost to get it painted?

 

Def. paint it black, like a satin black.

Not sure, a couple hundred dollars I think, more or less considering thew quality and skill of painter I'm sure.

 

def leave it eison grey. VERY JDM! I believe one if the earlier evos came in that color. the 05 MR's wing and vg is that color. i would save the money and paint the sides of your wing eison too. PM me if you need a paint code for it cause the 05's have 2 paint codes one for gg and 1 for eison grey.

 

Also, does anybody have pics of their GG car with JDM rear on? and what did you go with?

 

Bumper looks good! paint it the same color as the damn car.

 

He's not questioning what color to paint the bumper, only the 'diffuser' section.

 

JDM is hot...

I would prolly paint the diffuser part a silverish grey...like a few shades lighter than the grey...but thats my opinion

 

ROFL@ME thanks for clearing that up for me. the few that I've seen looked like they were carbon fiber. I thought that combination was nice.

 

I painted mine black... and it looks pretty good IMO.

Kinda sucks that we have to pay extra to have it painted GG
