Looks good bro, glad to see that you're putting the turbo on. Can't wait to see the turn out. Also don't mind the haters, its the internet... everyone can say whatever they want, but as long as you like your car you're golden. Its like those people who "rice" their cars out, if they're like it, who cares what others say, its their money and they have the right to spend it the way they want.

I'm glad to see a lot of Evo owners posting up good comments about the car. Good luck with the turbo kit.

eh the rear is ok. The front however, looks cheap to me.

 

I have to say I'm humbled by all of your kind comments. You guys have the car that people like me dream of, and that so many of you are respectful is just amazing. Anyway, thanks for the comments, they've certainly made me respect Evo owners even more, that they can appreciate much lesser cars too!

Nice work on getting "your" car to where "you" want it. It is obvious to everyone of all the work that went, and is still going into "your" car to get the look and performance you want. I respect all the effort. Disregard any negativity. I can see what you are trying to achieve, and in my own opinion, are going about it the right way, given your situation. Do what you want. It's your car and no one elses

 

There's really no point for anyone to look down on anyone elses car. Just as we look down on slower cars, faster owners will look down at us and so on and so forth. Ever have a Porsche cup car ride your tail on a road track?

As long as someone respects their own car and takes pride in it, it should be good enough for all other car guys =).

 

I think the correct spelling you are looking for is retarded. If you are going to call someone retarded, you better make sure you spell it right.

 

I dont see what's the big deal with all the "It's not an evo, but it's trying to look like one!!" comments... If everyone flipped out about people using body parts from other cars, everytime you some car with altezza tails, you'd have a heart attack. "OMG!! He has altezza tail lights and IT'S NOT AN ALTEZZA!!! WTF!!!" He just got them probally because he thinks it looks good on his car, just like what everyone does. You gotta make the most of what you have. Maybe that was the best car he could get for the price (both the actual price of the car and insurance). Not everyone has money flowing out of their *** to easily afford an Evo. In fact, I find this guy smarter than the idiots that buy Evo's and then have to take it up the *** and sell them a few months down the road when they realize they can't afford the insurance and matinence for it, becuase he thought ahead. Personally, what he did is'nt really my tastes, but everything came out pretty clean.

 

wow this thread would've ended long ago if you guys would just read. it costs a lot more to buy an evo than to spend whatever amount he spent fixing up his lancer. good job, period.
