even with one rod mine wah still opening too fast so i took out both

 

best thing to do is remove them both. if you don't, over time they will warp the trunk because of the tension on the trunk while it's closed. especially a cheap piece of crap like seibon.

 

Mine does the same thing.

Just catapult **** from the trunk, or hit you retarted friends in the face with it!

 

As someone said before, just get the channel lock tool, take both tension rods out and call it a day. You'll have to hold the trunk lid up when you're putting stuff in the trunk but it's worth it to have clean lines and fitment IMO
