Yes the ams street core and the buschur deluxe core both use the factory crash beam where as their race cores the factory crash beam has to be trimmed in order to fit it. The nisei is slightly less thick but still has more surface area than both of those companies race cores it measures 3.7" thick and you still keep the factory crash beam. The br and ams race cores are 4" thick. You really dont need to go with a race core or a huge core unless you are going to be looking to produce 600+ whp.

Not normally. I did that mine on my own. Its kind of a pain to do it the way I did it. If we found a better way to then I dont see it being a problem.

I used a vinyl overlay with the logo cut out and just painted over it. The overlay was like $15.
