People with C West front....

just had a couple of questions for those with the cwest front.

1) do you scrape alot (ex. speed bumps, drive ways)? im lowered on jic coilovers tuned by robi

2) should i put a mesh grill on the intercooler hole? reason i ask is i see alot of people dont put one, but was wondering if that can be a hazzard for things to hit the intercooler.

im thinking about either getting a cwest front, ings sides and rear or oem kit with do luck lip and jdm ix rear, having a hard time deciding. just dont want the car to be too low especially with aftermarket front and side skirts.

I just put a C-west front on my IX because i saved money doing that than buying a lip and getting a new bumper.. I hit some **** with my stock one.. and i couldnt be happier. It is not quite as low as the stock bumper is and im lowered on S-techs. You have to be carefully of curbs and gutters and stuff casue the lip on the C-west is so damn wide and long. I don't have the mesh in front of the intercooler cause it wont fit.. I have a ams fmic and it wraps around the intercooler and looks like it is wrecked so i just left it off.

It didn't sit as low as my Do-luck front lip did, but it is a longer and sticks out on the sides. Just depends on where you live and if you're willing to deal with going sideways everywhere -_-

In the end I chose to keep my front end stock. Driving around town without having to think twice about scraping is the best feeling especially when you're car is aggressively lowered like mine is, however I have a daily driver now so i'm probably going to go back to CWest w/ Voltex Canards :] in the future and raise the ride height a bit.

C-west here with some scratches but nothing serious just gotta be careful. I also have my mesh which actually helps a lot, I would keep it if I was you.

I have scratched mine on a few steep entrances, but nothing too major. It does hang sorta low, so you have to be careful with it.

I am planning on getting the C-West front, and do you think I would get scratches if I keep it stock hight?
