JDM Flush - 18x9.5 +15s :)
I'm on board w/ the tire too small gang.... I have 275x18s and w/ rolled fenders... they rub. Dont get such a wide wheel if you're not going to use it.
1.)looks stupid on the road, tire all sucked in.
2.)performs poorly at the track, sidwall is designed to be upright, plus your loosing 30mm of tread....

Yes, you can fit bigger tires with more "in" wheels. The purpose here is to get the JDM street style. The wheels actually line up with the tops of the fenders and follows the body line straight to the ground at an angle - it gives an aggressive and exagerated stance much like something out of a Japanese comic book:

I can go into the whole thing about stretched tires allowing for less tire flex as well as predictable control at breakaway - but the main reason is the look.
The rear fender is a 3 angle job and takes 4-5 hours with 2 people and the proper equipment. The result is no waviness etc. - just a clean flare. The "dent" you see is because the flare sticks out from the fender so it makes the fender look more "in".

Enkei's Looks good....one of the cheapest wheels avail. for Evo's and it looks bad azz. Watch those SF curbs and potholes in the East Bay! Im on 275/35's on 9.5, 1/4's rolled by Navid at Extreme in San Jose....no rub at all. Had the 1/4's massaged ala Paintless Dent Removal in Dublin, CA. I paid $$ for it but mine looks factory untouched. CCW classics wrapped in 285's are on the agenda
It would be cool if your car was actually low. If you're going to be a ricer, might as well go all the way with it and look good slammed with a paper thin gap between the fender and tire. As it is right now, it just looks wannabe drifter.

Plus the car has to be drivable on the street as well as the race track.
This ain't no show/garage queen.
