This is not a garage queen - he will be running the car at Thunderhill this week and probably be at many up coming track days as well.

Since when does Falken offer the RT615 in a 245/40?

Why run a 9.5 rim and put a tire that belongs on a 8.5 rim, I dont see the point.
Just get the the smaller rim if your not going to run the proper combination.
I personally run a 18x9 wheel with a 265 tire, no tire stretching.
And whoever said the 615's run wider that most tires of the same size is way off, as a matter of fact I have seen them run consistantly smaller in with than comparables.....

I don't know what you're smoking...

245/40R18

looks like 35th avenue in SF haha am i right??? You guys wanna help me roll my fenders too???Im gonna get a real fender roller though.
What do you think was used? a baseball bat?

I don't think my friend really has time to do other cars but be warned - if you mess up you can cause some body damage. I'd stay away if you don't have any experience doing this yourself.

Looks absolutely awesome. Width/offset really makes or breaks the look of the car, and you did a great job.

Thats a sick JDM look. Most drifter run a wider rim with a smaller tire for less sidewall flex. I don't get why ppl think a wider tire is always better??? You can run a 255 and be faster than someone running 275s. Last time I checked, Cyber Evo is running 255s when it made a 55 sec run at Tuskuba and the Puma race Evo runs only 235!

I would not recommend having 275s for everyday since it will most likely kill your power steering pump.

Just because it's low doesn't mean it has to be a show queen. In my opinion, as your car sits right now it looks pretty dumb. Your car is low? Maybe for a rally car. The whole point of stretching tires is to tuck them under the fender in my opinion. From the side pics of your car, I can see tons of gap between the ground. Until your car is impossible to go over speedbumps and into steep driveways, that's when your car is low.

I just think it looks mexicali when it's not low.
