Opinions on Exterior setup
I have been doing some research on how I want my 06 IX MR to look, but it would still be nice to have some other people's opinions. I already have 5% sunshade all the way around. Also any one with similiar or the same looks if they have any pictures would be great.
If anyone knows where I could get these parts cheaper let me know.
Part---------------------------------------------Location---------------------Price
Carbon fiber front spliter-------------------Mach V website------------305.99 shipped
JDM IX rear fascia----------------------------Gruppe-S website---------679.99 shipped
17x9 FN01R-C (matte black)---------------where?----------------------209.99 each
McGard spline drive lugs 12x1.5----------Summit Racing website---87.49 for 20
This is all the exterior I think I am going to do. I think the 06 IX looks pretty good without much exterior changes.
I am going to purchase everything next month so let me know, thanks.

I'd get the street concepts ralliart replica CF lip before any kind of splitter. Or even the APR lip. I'm not too partial to the fn01R-C wheels either.
Oh and I don't think lugnuts are an exterior mod...
But its your car, if you like it, get it by all means.

I am in Michigan and have met a couple people from Mievo.net. I have tried to goto the events but they always get canceled, maybe its just the ones I was going to.

I agree that this in now in the proper section.
As far as tires go (from your other thread) -- if you are planing on using them in the snow I would not get 255s. For snow driving you want a narrower tire. 255s will act like skiis (trust me - my 96 Impala SS on my summer 255 tire was dangerous). 235/45/17s in all-seasons work well or deticated snow tires work best. For summer/weekend driving check out 255/40/17 Falken 615s.
There is an event this Friday in Ann Arbor:
