As a point of interest, here's a current discussion about powdercoating the Brembos:

This stuff is amazing. Just dump some into a spray bottle and spray your wheels / sidewalls. It will actually pull the dirt out of the tires. Spray it down, then wipe whats remaining of the brake dust with a rag. This stuff is awesome and has NEVER hurt my rims. It can also clean your tires so well the red/green dots on the sidewalls will re-appear on the A046s! Trust me, Ive been using this stuff for over 6 years. I also recommend their Hawiian Shine car wash.
Just to sum it up. This stuff will make cleaning the calipers alot easier. And it will not eat the finish, period.
