First shots with new Camera
So I bought my girlfriend a Nikon D50 kit for christmas and wanted to see how it would do on my evo... I have no idea how to work this camera nor do I have any photography skills. This was just for fun.

Price range is from $700 to about $9,000. It all depends on the grade of camera your looking for. Do you want full-frame or not? How many megapixels? Do you want a plastic body or Metal? It depends on the features also. There's alot of factors that play when bying an SLR. I have a 12.3 Megapix Fujifilm I baught 2 1/2 years ago that I love. It cost me about $2,300 for the body(no lens) and is awesome. But it's not for everybody and you have to know what your doing to get good pictures out of it. Not a point and shoot camera. Nikon's D70/D80 and Canons Rebel XT/XTi are good for people who want to start and learn. I've seen some very professional looking pictures taken with these cameras at photography shows over at Javits cntr in NY that would blow someone's mind.
