i drove my car from jersy to north carolina. no tape and no chips. if u drive ur car than its bound to have some marks on it. its never gona stay brand new.

That's awesome! I just did that but brought gaffers take as it is heavier and still doesn't leave a residue. Also brought some clear bra material to put over the haedlights. Only issue was when it got a bit wet but other then that, not a single chip in 1300 miles across country accept for the windsheild.

She is at the clear bra guy now getting iron clad so I can rip around without fear of rock chips.

HOLY WOW! I never checked this thread after the second day!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all who beleive in the all so famous painters tape! in my defense to those who think that putting tape on your car does not mean you enjoy it??? Or drive it???? HAHA is all i can really say, try taping your car and drive halfway across the country. The responces and looks are insane. talk about driving and enjoying.

And yea chips are going to happen. You should see it now. But after spending $27k in one day im gunna be a little ****! Not to mention to anyone who has driven on the highway, when you think you are crusin nice and calm at 90mph and a semi truck passes you spitting more then you can imagine at your car......that $9 worth of tape just paid for itself!!!
