**noob evo fitment question**
simple.... go try to fit 18x10 +15 on a stock body 8/9 without having to seriously roll, beat and pull the fenders on top of running a bunch of negative camber which will eat thru your tires fast...

second reason is some people like to run an actual tire on there and not 215s... like 255 -275s...

and third if the person doesn't know what they are doing, the rear fenders will look like poop when they pull them. They will buckle and may crack the paint.

and lastly... my personal opinion... most (not all) wheels in 18x9.5 and 18x10--> .5, the face and concave of the wheel is usually the same and if you are going to run the same size tire regardless of wheel diameter, then what is the point. Run the 18x9.5 with a 265 and don't worry about rubbing or running excessive camber which will eat your tires faster.

No rubbing at all in the back?

And is that a 245/35? Or 245/40?

word, very true.

with all that being said im the guy that wil end up doing everything u just explained because i just got my new wheels test fitted today and im going to need -4 camber all around, roll and pull fenders, chop away some fender liner, and stretch tires to the max.

flamesuit on
here is one pic with no negative camber yet but you get the picture.
18x10.5 +15 varrstoens w/ 225/40/18. going to take some work but for me the look is worth it.

Ya, negative camber not only will help fit but it will look much better too. It's gonna look great but you need to go a bit lower to make it all work.

The fronts will hit your suspension. The rears will hit the control arms once you put tires on.

Will need spacers.
