And how much can you turn the front wheels? Do the wheels hit the bumper or sideskirts when turning?
I imagine a setup like that would.. just wondering how you got it to work lol
I remember test fitting a +25mm spacer on a 18x9" +29 wheel, and it would hit my front bumper every time i turned the wheel.

[QUOTE=bryant;9460757]18x10.5 +18's with 245's No pull. Just cut rears. Just sayin'
yea... you cut the fender... defeats the need for pulling....
245 is weak on a 10.5 but does give you the room for less camber and no pull(without cutting fenders)
I ran 245s on 18x9.5 +15s and I thought it was a bit of stretch. Not my cup of tea so I stuck with 18x9.5 +22 RE30s for the next set up(they are on order) and plan to start with a 255 or more likely 265s. Even at -2.5, tires will likely go fairly quick... mine were badly cupped on the inside at about 10k miles and I was at -2 all around and the EVO is not my DD.
Not flaming on people with stretched or mad crazy cambered EVOs... I was simply giving information to the person since he asked why most people run 9.5s over 10.5s and gave my personal experience with them... also people forget that the lower the offset of the wheel, the more camber you will have to run. If go below +20 offset on CT9As, you start playing with more negative camber which adds to increase tire cupping/wear. I personally think +22 is good offset for a 9.5" wheel on CT9As as you get the most meat/wheel under the fender without having to run a bunch of negative camber.
I want to see how 18x11s look on stock body CT9A... car is not made to run that kinda of width as the offset will likely be under +20 for sure... just go to widebody and call it a day... or get a X... someone already posted 18x11s on the X aggressive wheel thread. But Xs look better with 19x10.5s IMO. 18s look small on Xs.

The 18X10.5 CE's look pretty cool. I don't think I'd do it. Its awesome to look at but I just can't get over the wheels sticking out from the fender. Love the lip....hate the poke.
Either way nice car.

To the guy looking to run the 18x11 +18, prepare for a LOT of work. It's going to be a big commitment. Even if you do something stupid like put a 235 on there, you're still going to have a TON of work to do. Not something for people who don't want to spend a lot of money or don't have the heart to start chopping away at their baby.

I hear what youre saying. Thats why I had another setup that was 18x9.5 +28 with 265's. I just wanted that lip and huge concave spokes is the look I was going for. Performance wise there are far better options out there.
And yes, Evo's eat front tires all day.

Wheel offset calculator should have give you an idea:
http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
+18 on an 11" wide wheel seems like it won't workout well.
I'm running 18 x 10.5 +15 with 275/35s and even that setup has too much stretch for my liking; should have ran 295s.

It might be stretch but remember not all tires run the same specs. Some brands stretch more and some turn to have more meat. Atm, I have 275's/295's mounted on the 11" wheels and there is no stretch on the 275's by any means(nitto NT01's/NT05's).
Anyways, I'll try my luck tomorrow and mount R1R 255/35's all around and see what happens.

Diff run a 295, I have 285/30s on a 18x10.5 +15 and it still has a small stretch.

what size tire are you running?
And how much can you turn the front wheels? Do the wheels hit the bumper or sideskirts when turning?
I imagine a setup like that would.. just wondering how you got it to work lol
I remember test fitting a +25mm spacer on a 18x9" +29 wheel, and it would hit my front bumper every time i turned the wheel.
