The Ultimate Aggressive Wheel Thread...
While I generally agree, I've only seen a handful of sets at shows and none on the street. I think it's easy to lose sight of the fact that we subscribe to threads where "everyone that has them" is posting pictures. In actual day-to-day life, you actually see zero sets of LM's, Rotiforms, CCW's, ADV.1's, etc.
HOWEVER, I live in Cleveland, OH area. While the weather has been nice, we are just getting out of winter. We get 6-8 months to roll on good wheels. Anyone 4 hours south of us and further probably sees more sets of fancy wheels on a day-to-day basis just because weather allows you to enjoy your investment more.
I was feeling like LM20's were "too common", but then I realized that I love them and actually never see any in my town. Now I'm considering a set with gold centers for my Nogaro Blue B5 S4. Eh, we'll see...

I guess I'm gonna be a "me too" next month....my LM20s are about 4 weeks out. Like Thomas Chagrin said, I rarely see CCWs at all offline, and I really don't feel like there are that many Evos with them online. More than a couple? Yes, but I see far more sets of Rotas, Enkeis, and Volks on here. Maybe if I lived in a bigger city where they're probably more popular I might feel differently. I love mesh style wheels and really wanted a set of BBS LMs, but I got sick of trying to find a used set.
Honestly, the LM5 kinda seems like the new "it" wheel to me. A few months ago I didn't know they existed, but I've probably seen a half dozen or more sets on various cars just in the last month or two. It doesn't tarnish my opinion of them though.

If you live somewhere where every other Evo owner can rock $5k LM20's or Classics, I'd love to live there!!
All CCW wheels are nice, but Classics and LM20s are definitely the way to go, since there is no good fully polished knockoff available really (I may be wrong?). As for the new LM5's, they kind of look like Rota D2's, but with a flat spoke face. I actually prefer the round spokes on the D2's / Work Meisters / SSR Professors to the LM5's.
Just my .02 though. As long as the owner loves them, that's all that matters!

I have wanted CCW Classic or LM20's since i was introduced to them. I should have waited and got a set instead of my works.

lol I guess I just see alot of LM20s/Classics on my news feed on FB. But in reality like Thomas Chargrin said, you rarely see them out in the wild lol. I love LM20s don't get me wrong, I went with LM5s just b/c they haven't been done. I'm not a fan of classics but honestly I would love a set of LM20 faces

While I called them me too's I didn't say I wouldn't buy a set. LOL. I had some limited edition TE-37 SL's.....They looked like regular gloss black TE's.......That is a Me Too wheel if I have ever seen one.
Very few wheels you can buy these days for a Evo that haven't been done to death.
My wife has LM20's and everytime I see her car I want to buy a set.

B: convert the width of the wheel from inches to mm and divide by 2.
Subtract B from A and that is your offset.
