I have 255s on 18x9.5 +22, i'm guessing not aggressive, but also not stanced. Nobody wants this "regular" setup haha

I would say anything 18X9.5 with a offset of +20 or lower is aggressive. Tire size is debatable.

Hey Everyone,

I would like some help. I have gone through nearly 400 pages of this thread and I am still struggling... I have 18x9.5+22 TE37SL Black Editions. I would like to leave my body as stock as possible. I have Seibon 10mm wider front fenders and the backs are rolled flat. I know I have to relocate or bend the rear bumper bolt but I need help on tires. I want a meaty setup. Can I fit a 265/35? My Ideal setup would be a 40 sidewall so would I be able to fit a 255/40?

Thanks for any help

255's are going to be pushing it in the rear. expect to run a lot of camber to get them to fit.

You will be needing a rear fender push to fit the 265 or the 255/40 & all the other tricks noted. BTW, if you cant run that set-up w/out adding out of spec rear camber, dont do it !!!

I know I will have to roll my rear quarters that is not an issue. I just hate the look of Pulled rears... How much camber are we talking? I feel like 1 1/2 - 2 deg. should be not too much right? Or is that a lot on our cars?

What about a 245/40? I could get this to fit you think?

Max rear camber from what Ive read & from my suspension tuner is 2 degrees for the road course. I run 1.8 at the track

Ran your no.s again w/the 245 which is the min width allowed for the 9.5". Sure it helps a bit but I feel the rear pull may still be needed for a full, no rub set up

Its the +22 & the 40 series that makes this tough as you know

Here is a pic of when I was rocking 18x9.5 +22 Te37 with 255/35-18. Front fenders were rolled and rear had a slight pull and roll. Camber's were set to -2 up front and -1.5 in the rear. I had no rubbing issues.

Hi,

I am looking for a more aggressive wheel stance for my JDM Evo 8 MR.

It sits right now on

Gram Lights 57 Maximum
18x8.5 +30
5x114.3

What spacers do you guys think I can run? 25 or 15?. I don't mind rolling fenders.

Here's a pic:

Thanks!

Ashish

I think 15mm would be perfect.

You didnt note the tire size but they look like possible 255/35's?

You are already at +30. If you add a 5mm that gets you to an effective +25 which is very aggressive. You may need more than a roll w/just adding the 5mm

Imagine adding a +15mm spacer. Effective offset now at +15. Nobody runs a properly fitted +15!!!!

It sits on a 265/35/18 tire.

I will double check the offset. have to take off the wheel.

I plan to add the Varis wide body thats why I need the spacers, cant afford new wheels right now.
