Fix my godforsaken wing Mitsubishi! I already went in to have it looked at under warranty(I'm at 32k). They said they don't do that, some guy from Mitsu comes around to the dealers and they will call me the day before he comes. Is this right? It's been a month already and will take months to get one they said. Killing me

Plans: Not much, I'm gonna keep almost everything stock. Already ordered and received Lamin-x for headlights and Nokya H11 2500k yellow fogs. I figure gold 17" Rota Boosts next year, JDM Evo7 tails and the ebay carbon fiber lip this summer. Might black out headlights this summer too.

Going to a meet this weekend so I should have a bunch of clean good pics next week with of a lot of hot cars.

RE: The Wing.......I had my CF hood color sanded and buffed for $100 at a local body & detail shop. It looked like NEW again....this is one of a couple routes you can take. You already tried the dealership, you can take it to a shop like I did or you can attempt to repair the wing on your own like others have....there is a really good thread on here that shows you how to do it......I will find it and post it up for you......Good Luck!

haha yea, not having a camera really limits my opportunities to get pics taken. i had to go for it while i had the chance. and since i don't even have a cam, i'm not gonna take any great pics. this weekend i should have good ones though. ill even wash her up

edit: yea I've seen that ugly wing thread, and mine's under warranty so they better fix that up. I just didn't expect it to take this long and for the dealer to not even be able to give it the ok to be fixed under warranty. ridiculous cuz it REALLY looks bad as you can see. clear totally gone in one spot

no, i'm heading back to the parents house in CT friday after work, so i won't be around saturday for DSG(i'm stock anyways). i WILL be at the sunday meet at mohegan sun, march 4th.

and yea, finding a BBY was a treat. white was my #1 choice for whatever car i got, but i found a low mile 99% stock 04 BBY for a good price so i jumped on it. the color was a bonus. wing will be fixed under warranty, or have my friend do it if it's gonna take half a year

 

get that wing recleared

 

Next time you get pics taken keep the light source BEHIND you, that way you dont get that washed out look.

Mitsu should fix it under warranty, but as far as I know the wings are on back order like 6 months, maybe more..
