Those with aftermarket seats.... LETS SEE 'EM!

I am considering picking up some other seats for the Evo and am curious to see what all of you are running, mounting solutions, etc... I dont MIND the stock seats but they definately need lowered (at least the driver seat) IMO. I would like to have something a bit different.

I have my eye set on the Sparco Evo XL but the mounting, sliding, height, etc... seem to be a problem with getting some information.

I am 6'2" 240lbs so I will need a larger seat.

I am not interested in seeing recovered stockers. Sorry....

Any help is appreciated......Thanks in advance guys!

Do you like the stock seats or are they too small for you??? I know there's a company that makes lowering brackets/sliders for the stock seats, I just cant remember it right now sorry

....hopefully it will come to me later

Bucket perferably if I am going to put in new seats. I really like how the Sparco Evo XL feels.

The stock seats fit just fine. I found some rails for lowering the stock seats. They are like $169 or something for 1 side. I PM'd a gentleman who used to make lowering tabs for the stock seats in the past but havent heard back from him.

are the seats the problem or just the mounting position? you could probrably find a mounting solution that would place the seat height at a more comfortable position for you.

I would like to lower the driver side for sure if I am going to keep the stock seats but cant force myself to drop $150+ for tabs for 1 side. Maybe I will pull the thing out and make something myself if I dont hear back from the other guy.

HKS makes a whole new bracket/slider assembly, goes for like $250/seat, but i have had a hard time finding out exactly how much it lowers the seat.

It lowers the seat 1 1/2".

Like I said.... I will make something before I spend that kind of cash just to lower 1 seat.

Recaro Pole Position.

My favorite shell of all, and I've sat in them all Jarrod lol. I'm 6'3 & 230lbs myself and find these the most comfortable and suitable for long drives. I have no complaints about this seat. If you go this route, go with the BRIDE FO bottom mount ( slider and bottom mount in one peice, VERY NICE ) with Recaro Side mounts and the seat. This thing is VERY NICE.

****ty pics but you get the idea. Hope that helps Jarrod. You should talk to Nick, I've been talking about this with him for days now . I still need to get Nick the measurements, barely have time!
