Zeitronix /Radio Delete Mount

Guys here are a few pics of what my friend Evolento and me were doing this past couple of days. First I thought to remove the lcd from the bulky box and cut the delete, then it didn't come out good and figured it would be best protected inside the bulky box....

Hope this helps other people mount it, very simple get a radio delete plate and cut it, the lcd actually if flushed in no cutting needed on the plastic .

Will post better pics tomorrow

sorry for the crappy pics (phone camera) I messed up the delete w the dremel by accident that's the scuffs u all will see there, hope it helps to get a better idea of how it looks.

can't really tell in the pics, but it looks like you did a better job cutting than me. I just cut around the lcd screen and not the whole box. Mine isn't quite flush. Will you get a few day time pics so I can see what you did?

Eshark: I tried cutting the hole for the screen by itself, but with the dremel, it wasn't so easy. So we reused the outer zeitronic box, pressured it in and cut the RS delete to fit the open spaces on the sides.

I'll post daytime pics whne I get home today . There is a small gap on the top because I decided to keep the side plastic also to protect the green thing inside the zeitronix box.

very nice!

Much better than on top of the steer wheel hub!

i dont remember, was your head unit always down there or did you just relocate it?

Do you think my flip out would fit there or is it gonna rub where the a/c controls are?

thanx Tamer, I relocated the radio and i'm not sure if your flip up will work down there. Even if it does u won't be able to see the screen.

Looks good, I did basicly the same thing. But we cut different things to make them fit. And I just made a "switch" so you can click the button. Seeing yours has me thinking of a Version 2 for mine.
