What products are you guys using on the evo9 leather/vinyl??
So what you guys using with what results?? My car almost has 4K miles and the leather/vinyl is already getting dry and faded...wondering what you guys use. Pics would be great.
I don't want anything greasy or oily. Just something to moisturize the material so it doesn't look and feel so dry.
I always cover the seats with sunshades, but normal wear and tear I suppose. So post it up I need to get these things looking new again

come on....haha...tell me I'm not the only one noticing that my driver seat looks very dry and crackly compared to the passenger seat ROFL.....I have used meguiar's vinyl and leather protectant and I found after testing it on an area that it causes the vinyl to wrinkle up.
I will be trying Griot's Garage Leather/Vinyl care soon to see if that works. My friend uses it on his Integra leather and it worked well without being greasy.

This is another thing that I ahve been thinking about....the seats are not actually leather, right? The material on our seats is vinyl made to look like leather. Am I wrong? That's why I thought I was supposed to stay away from using an actual leather cleaner.
the "leather" on the IX is extremely poor quality. It must be from some old, sun burned, dried out cows that spent their entire life in the Texas sun. I'm not expecting it to rival a $60k audi, but it's the worst I've ever seen. I'd be surprised if it will last more than 5 yrs even with good care. Decent quality vinyl would probably be better IMO.
I use lexol also. It makes it look good for a few days and then it looks like dried out crap again.

Ive been using the meguires leather conditioner spray. it makes the leather look good, but doesnt really penetrate and soften. I usually wipe down the seats and use the leather conditioner soaked microfiber cloth to wipe down the vinyl. The leather conitioner stuff makes the vinyl look great. Im not sure if its good for the vinyl... i dont really spray it on...
I just orderd zaino products and will be testing that out to soften up the cardboard textured leather rear seats.
