Seems like all of these VIP builds are taking quite some time to get done. I've only seen a few come out of there so far and haven't seen too many #'s on these kits.

What is the reasoning behind the UICP being a silicone coupler for the last few inches rather than hard piping? Just wondering...

not a shearer manifold either. Needless to say there are folks on here that have out for us since they belong to the nutswingers union.

we didn't have the car for 6 months like people seem to say. Machine shop had the head for over 50% of the time we had the car in the first place and the build went though like a dozen changes in the process.

First.... There are still no numbers on this setup or any turbo setup that comes from VIP. None what so ever.... Why? Even your first turbo (extended 50 trim) took like 7 months from start to what ever state it currently is at... Which is still MIA!

Second... What would take 4+ months to do at the machine shop? Come on now man... You posted the mod list... he got some head work done. 4 months for head work??!!?? Lets get real... Even a fully built head doesn't take that long. Also this projected started in the "off" season!?!?

Third... I could see why it would take so long to get everything done since you have to out source all your fabrication and R&D. That's what happens to "bolt on" shops.

VIP... Always the brides maid.... But never the bride!

The built took a little over 4 months, relax.

The numbers are coming soon don't you worry. ISP has the car.

I think you missed the first part about my head gasket being blown. The head was warped between #3-#4 cylinders and had to get machined to be true again.

Also the first set of piping, headers, and turbo was lost during the shipment back from coating. Hence, everything had to be fabricated a second time.

I didn't want to write out a novel about the history of the build but dayyyn, there are some VIP haters here...

our customer pretty much said what needed to be said in response to your typical and very consistent bs. he was also there through out the entire build up and saw our fabricator do all of the work himself.

I'm not going to humor your bull**** and let this thread go the way of the rest of your virus plagued threads.

Customer is happy, quality work and the tuner saying he expects big power......
