Your mods are mostly cosmetic, suspension, and brakes. You clearly beat the driver.
My buddy has a C6 and took it to the local 1/8 mile track where he ran a crappy 8.4 at 88mph. My stock 9 went 8.4 at 82mph with a 1.99 60ft. My car might have something for his car at the track, but his car would clearly beat mine with the right amount of traction.

i'll throw my 2 cents in on this... C6 and EVO IX = driver's race. considering stock IX's have gone as deep as 12.6, and the C6 is around the same, it's a driver's race. i've raced one C6 and beat him in my IX MR...mods are in sig. BUT...the 08+ C6's will spank the EVO because they got a power bump (as if they needed it...*****es) and of course we know what happened to the poor EVO X...can't even keep up with a ****in Mazdaspeed6 anymore
By the way, got a link to the 12.6 run of a bone stock IX? I've never seen that before, and in any case that's not at all representative of what the car usually does. It makes no sense to take extremes into account. LS1 F-bodies have run as fast as 12.8x bone stock, but that doesn't make them 12-second cars.

I dunno, I've beat my fair share of vettes but they have also beaten me. No big deal, it happens. The topic of the thread was the picture, not which cars e-***** is bigger. That being said, from a photography standpoint, I though it was put together very well. I'll be saving that to my home computer tonight. Should be good for a few laughs down the road.
You're absolutely nuts if you think a 400hp RWD C6 and a ~300hp AWD Evo is a driver's race. Sorry, that's just disgustingly wrong. Evos are in general low 13-second cars with good drivers, C6s are easy mid 12 cars. From a roll it would be even more embarrassing. You need boost controller, exhaust, and a tune on a IX to hang with a C6.

couldent agree more. I love my evo, and have alot of respect for fast cars, thats ANY fast car domestic, rice, or otherwise.
the evo and the vette are on two diffrent levels, to completly different cars. My dad drives a vette and i ride it sometimes, tq for days. But i never bought me evo for that reason. i bought it to turn, but if my mind set was drag racing, i know i would be in a V8 of some sort.
case and point
Turn and power = FQ400
Turn and destroy all others = ZR1
This was like a year ago. MY evo and some cocky v8 muscle head that wouldnt stop running his mouth in line. Also make note of the on going discussion in the replys to my you tube video. Some people are just ignorant.
