I love me some Evo's as much as the next guy, but you put a Evo and a C6 or C6 Z06 in front of me I'll be rubbing my wiener on the Vette. 
A Vette will be my next car. Of course I'm gonna have to wait for my two boys to be 18 and out of the house. Only have about.....um....16 and 18 more years to go.

The Evo is not even in the same league as a Corvette Z06. I mean that's why they have different Classes for competition like FR, MR,FF,FAWD ect ect. Also there are separations for engine sizes as well. Evo's main Rival is the Sti and it was designed for Rally Courses. While the Corvette is more for a skilled driver, But most Corvette owners are older people who don't even know how to drive their car's.
In my opinion the Evo is a good car for a person to learn how to drive a Car, and beat on it, and learn how to take it to the limit, and then move on to another platform. It's comparing a 27K to 70-80K. I am just now barely 21 years old if I could of afforded a C6 Z06 believe me I would've gotten one in a heart beat. The Evo is good enough for now it's cheap and can perform.

laugh a little ... jeez... i did say vettes are cool GT cars... i say that to my friends with vettes/american muscle and they think it's funny... they in turn call me a F and F ricer... which i think is funny in a blazing saddles kinda way...
no i know, i just wasn't sure how you were posting it, theres a lot of ignorant car people out there...i have a vette and love it but do i miss my evo, hells yea i do haha...two different cars...
