just shows a nice generational change in cars.

 

I think the bottom line is that there are a lot of import owners out there that act like 12 year olds at the same time there are a lot of domestic owners that are plain dumb and dont understand how a 2 litre can smoke a V8 but import owners do things like give other car owners the fingure and continue to rev at others on the road. I lined up with a c6 a couple times at the strip and burned him by about 10-12 cars every time. I still have full respect for the car and im not an *** hole to every domestic owner out there. I can't drive one day without having a honda boy or srt reving and "blowing off" at me. For the most part the attitude of half the import owners is disgusting and makes me wanna sell my evo.

You ever notice how Corvettes never rev up on anybody and basically drive slower than the average? With the C6 I don't need to prove anything. I'm not interested in revving anybody, let alone racing anybody in the streets. I know what the car can do in comparison with the vast majority of other cars on the road.

 

I hear ya 100% and the stereotype get's to me too. I get dogged constantly by my domestic friend for selling the Cobra for a EVO. I still get dogged by the Corvette and Z06 owners......it's all in fun, but I know deep down they are like "WTF" was he thinking.

I dunno, I don't think there is anything more gratifying than beating a car (on the track of course) that costs twice (or more) as much as yours.

To me, maturity has nothing to do with it.

 

I know, some of the guys in the Miata boards are ecstatic about beating EVOs on the Streets of Willows and other tracks with their modified Miatas

I also notice how sad all those people with big new AMGs, Porsches, RS4, and yes, even Vettes are about not having EVOs..
