I have a massive amount of chips as well but I blame myself for going on mountain runs. Other than the chips on the hood my red is all good (been 1 year now). Its just as deep, bloody and shiny as the day that I bought it. So glad I didn't buy a red VIII but I probably would have anyway because even if its all faded and f'd up it still looks sicker than any other color!

yes its phoenix red , when you go to most PPG paint stores and get paint for your car it will be Phoenix RED , I re shot my car 3 years ago after I got my car , Yes the factory paint sucks thats why haveing clear is so much better

^^Yeah, everywhere I call says the paint is called Phoenix Red, I always thought Phoneix red was from the Ralli Art, and Rally Red was from the EVO.

I searched this thread and the OP says the paint code is indeed P85 but is Palma Red Solid "Rally Red".

I need to make sure the paint matches it would be a pain for the hood to be a differnt color, the rest of the body has a good paint..
