Does anyone know what it takes to make the US-Spec Evo 8 look like the Evo 7?

 

bumpers, wing, wheels, lights, and badge.

So, the front end of the 7 just bolts directly up?

 

For the most part, the front and rear crash beams have to be modified to accept the Evo 7 bumper covers. As far as other stuff, you can add the rear tails for around 300. Good luck getting a set of Evo VII rims.... It was painful but I finally got a set.

I pu the 7 bumper on mine. Luckily I got the crash beam already trimmed when I bought it. I also have the 7 wing painted to match. The bumper was a straight forward bolt on. The wing, I had to remove one bolt from it, then it bolted right up. I'm working on getting the hood next.

 

But y do u need to turn it in to evo7?????
I have an JDM evo7 and i just ordered evo 8 CF Spoiler and a C-west body kit and a CF hood.....

 

I love the way the seven looks. First Evo I ever saw, since it's on CT9A I figured I would see what it takes to make it look like one. Thank you guys, you've been a lot of help!

 

If you want to be exact on the Evo7 .. my friend here has one.

Hood
Front Bumper
Rear Bumper
Spoiler
Interior... seats
Rear interior no flip down armrest
HVAC console is different
Trim is different plastic in the dash as well as the pillars.

Lights are also slightly different

Wheels are also different.

No big deal since 90% of the people that see it, even if it's side by side of my 03 Evo 8 doesn't even know that his is a 7. They do notice the spoiler and front bumper/hood once they finally look into it though.

 

i know a guy in NJ has evo 7 front end conversion, he is on njtuner.com or njtuners.com

 

evo 7 is very nice. i have thought about doing the same conversion on mine.

 

If someone has the hook up on a hood, shoot me a pm. I'd really appreciate it.

 

Well i do have my evo 7 hood but the thing is i am far far away.....
