How do they compare to the stock seats in terms of driving position and height?

With the sidemounts and bride rails, you sit lower than stock. I'm a taller guy so I don't mind, brings my arm level in a more comfortable position with respect to the shifter. The Recaro side mounts have 3 height adjustment settings, so yeah, you could raise it up if you wanted
