EVO VII experts..... need help
I am thinking of acquiring a hood for a EVO VII for my VIII.
Will it fit?
From my understanding, their might be a problem with the fenders and headlights.
I need to know for sure. Does anyone Know? Has anyone tried or done this before?

fits any EVO 8 or 9.All bolts and size are the same but you need to get the VII bumper to match the look or you can go with evo 7 c-west front bumper,DAMD evo 7 bumper,,,,,,,, etc
.... the only problem is >>> see the picture
(Evo 7 hood with aftermarket evo 8/9 bumper ,,, looks like c-west bumper am not sure)

you dont need to change the headlights or fenders. they are the same used from evo 7-9. if you get the hood, u will need the VII front bumper or aftermarket version of it for it to line up properly with the hood.

As far as I know the only difference is the VIII/IX hood comes to a point at the front and the VII hood is "flat" across the front (as illustrated in the above pict with the Voltex bumper). MachEVO claims they can get OEM VII front bumpers, but who knows what parts would be needed for the conversion.

i like the look of the 7 hood..... i like the bumper to, but i have not been able to find it for less than a grand and six weeks from japan
i think i understand why i need to get a vii bumper. as stated above the 8/9 hood comes to a rounded point, the 7 is cut off.... there would be a horrible looking gap correct?

get your hands on a HyperRev book. vol. #117 is the latest one for the EVO. doesn't look like it's listed on the site below so you'll have to get it elsewhere. i believe some of the vendor sites have our volumes for sale.
