Carbon Fiber mirrors

I have seen some Super Ganador CF mirrors that still use the electric adjustment and they look great. Since they are JDM, do they screw up the "objects are closer than they appear" since the driver's side is switched?

I would love to put these on my car to replace those giant Dumbo ears it has now. Anyone swapped them yet?

it probably will have the opposite display properties, but it's nothing that you can't get used to...

i had a set of JDM mirrors on my Si and it was really no problem...

If anyone has an opinion on how they look, that would be good, too...

If you have to ask the price....

Seriously, the mirrors are about $500. It's just money...

You really can't see much out of the Ganadors. You gotta contort your body to parallel park. They look cool as hell though.

+1 ... the mirror glass is cut differently so they ae not as easy to see out of. To me the passanger side on is usless but I taught my self a long time ago to look over my sholder insted of trusting that mirror. The driver's side isnt too bad.

I know this because I just bought a set and put them on the car last night.

I know there is a UK company that makes exact Ralliart copies in CF that are not setup for power, just push adjust like the RS mirrors....power mirrors are only cool when 2 different people use the car anyway?? Its the same company that makes the CF roof vents and such...

I am thinking of getting the APR CF mirrors, the f1 style ones. I know APR makes some quality stuff but has anyone heard any issues with the fit.

APR Mirrors fit like OEM, they even allow you to transplant the rubber gasket from your stock mirror so it seals perfectly. We have a set on our shop car and it's been great! 100x better install than the Ganadors.
