My front plate solution
you'll be getting pulled over again for sure
you can't even tell it's a license plate
here is what I did...used the same holes in the bumper with rubber grommets and a nut and a bolt...I eliminated the bracket
I think it looks really clean...I just had to drill new holes in the plate to make it wider for the screws

I live in a small hicktown where I get pulled over because my car has a wing. The week I bought my car I was pulled over and told my stock exhaust was too loud. After $225 worth of tickets in two weeks I had to put a front plate on. I think the stock location looks like **** and it disturbs the airflow over the front of the car. Not to mention YOU HAVE TO PUT HOLES IN THE BUMPER!!! I can unbolt that plate in 5 minutes and there won't be any holes in my bumper. I can put it somewhere else, but then it blocks flow to the i/c, o/c, or brake ducts. I've had that plate installed for over a month and haven't been pulled over once. I'm giving myself a pat on the back for a job well done.
I put mine over the mesh underneath the driver headlight. Zip tied it the mesh on the bottom holes then used rivets on the top 2 holes. Looks professional like it comes stock. No holes drilled. If the cops see it's a hack job they will give you another ticket for modifying something, especially if it's not at the right height where the stock plate mount comes factory. Good luck
