no... they made the hood more than strong enough due to the huge hole in the middle of it.... this hole is 8"x8" ..so it isnt huge... but no noticable added flex in the hood

i got the same one, i think it says koyorad and a flag. i like it exept it is a little fatter than the stock and with the fan on there you could have an issue with the intercooler tubing rubbing, if you have the stock tubing. other than that i like it.
