Wingless: Plugging Holes

I want to prevent water from coming into the trunk when I take the wing off. Someone should make rubber plugs w/ a flush top that drop right in there, does anyone make/have them?

Yeah what the F. This would sell, I think. Especially if they came in Evo specific colors.

Rubber pieces from O'reilys huh. I don't trust Irish folks, they're always drinking and yelling and smelling green soap.

+1 I paint match vinyl stickers are prob the simplest way to fix this. You can barely notice it untill you get up close

Wingless FTW!

Here are some close ups of how you might fill in the holes left in the trunk lid. I used some black plastic body panel fasteners. I had to cut them shorter and they are held in by a little bit of clear silicone under the "head".

I think the Apex Silver EVOs have a very unique "industrial" look that I really like. The black "rivets" kind of fit with the "industrial" look, IMNSHO.

Water does not get in the trunk via wing holes but rather drains away in the same path if you were to open your trunk after it rains.

i went "ghetto" on mine as a temp fix but it seems to hold up fine so i never changed em...and im lazy and dont really care about my evo's looks much anymore (PS remember I live in Washington where it rains like 90% of the time, and i've nvr had a single problem)
I cut circular pieces of duct tape, threw em on the trunk, and used touch up paint mitsu paint to color match it on the trunk. From a few feet back u cant notice a single thing.

I figured that but I wasn't sure. I still want to plug them so pine needles and bees don't get in.
