I wonder how much a Ferrari saleman makes?
Dunno about the salesmen, but there is an old saying:
"Ferrari dealers drive Hondas, and Honda dealers drive Ferraris..."

Hondas sort of have the Crazy Gideons business model..."Stack em deep and sell them cheep!"

back in the 80s supercar boom, Ferrari announced the F40s, and investors snatched them all up. once the cars were produced the owners sold them for MASSIVE profits.

Ferrari was PISSED, they intended the cars to be driven as cars, NOT as museum pieces or investments

When the F50 came out, they called ferrari owners in good standing and offered them a lease on the cars. You could not buy the car. If at the end of the lease, you put sufficient mileage on the cars, and had taken care of the car in the way Ferrari felt was worthy of such a car, they would allow you to purchase the car. If however you had kept it in your garage and rubbed it with a diaper, they took the car back and offered it up for lease to another selected owner.

I am sure the FXX was the same type of deal.

Ferrari has only been around since 1947..
