Thinking of powdercoating my stock 9 rims...

I currently have the stock 9 Enkei's on my car and i'm really getting sick of the silver color even though I like the rims. I've seen pictures of people black powdercoat them but I was thinking more of a darker bronze. How do you think this would look?

Does anyone have any pics that might be similar to what i'm going after?

By the way my car is an EB...

Bronze on EB should be a good look. Do a search and I'm sure you can find something.

I'd be wary of powdercoating though. I'm getting my stockers done time attack style and am gonna have them painted. Apparently powdercoating can weaken the spokes somewhat, and ours are already fairly thin...

How would it weaken the spokes that does not make any sesne at all. If your going to paint your wheel powdercoating is the only way to go. All they do is sandblast the existing paint and repaint, then bake.

How are you going to have your wheels done?

baking those wheels over 375 will make them weaker. Its been discussed like 4 times this week. You could powder coat them but do it a low temp.
