For those of you with Street Concept D1 Style Lip's

Is there a full replacement lip similar to the Street Concept D1

The OEM Lip I have is in need of repair and I was just wondering if the D1 can fit without an OEM lip or is it necessary for me to buy an OEM Lip first before I purchase.

(it says on the website that it fits "right over the OEM lip", but I would just like to make sure)

Thanks!

Perhaps someone with this lip will chime in here, but just in case you don't get a response. You can go to this thread here... https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=175276

That lip is the street concept type D lip, and it claims to be full replacement. If anything, shoot evo-mr a PM and ask to make sure.

The oem lip needs to be on for the street concept lip. My opinion, buy the real thing. I have the street concept lip and was never happy with it.

I have an ebay carbon fiber lip and it fits 98 percent. Every carbon fiber lip you have to take out your stock lip. I don't know where you heard of the idea of putting it over your stock lip. The only one I know of is the Greddy lip that uses that stock lip and covers it up.

I have look everywhere but haven't found a front lip for my Evo VIII in plastic or OEM material.

Does anyone knows about a front lip that is not fiberglass or carbon fiber?

Thanks!

Ok so the Type D doesnt fit without the OEM lip...

I would go with Do-Luck BUT if I mess it up (which one day WILL happen) Im not trying to pay another 600 hundred something for another lip!

+1 on the JDP! And you must take off the OEM lip to replace it with the new lip. I highly doubt there are many lips out there that go OVER the stock one.

Here is the only one I have with the JDP installed, before the terrible tragedy in Phoenix

I highly recommend JDP, the quality is impeccable and John is a great guy!!!!!!
