I just got off the phone with a guy who said he can make a set of the floor mats for the Evo 8. The other cars that he has made floormats for look pretty damn good, so I don't think quality will be an issue. There are no rough edges or anything like that. He is going to go and buy a set of the OEM mats and use them as a template and then start making them for us. He said that a set of them will run around $125 plus shipping. That is for all four mats, front and rear. If you are interested, let me know and I can give you his number and website. If we all mention that we are all a part of EvolutionM.net, maybe he will give us a group discount or something for all of the business. Who knows, it's worth a shot. Even still, $125 is cheap for these things.

I will be interested but I need pics. My evo is getting dirty inside and these matts will help.. i think. Never had metal plates as floormats but I think it will help.

 

I got them and yes, the NOPI Lancer floor mats do fit the Evo VIII.

Actually the guy didn't return my phone call today and he never picked up the phone when I tried calling him all day. I pretty much feel like he lost the sale. On a good note, I found a place that sells the same thing for $129 for our car that has GREAT customer service and they even throw in a cover for the dead pedal. Shipping through them is $15 flat to anywhere in the continental US. Yep, I ordered through them. They were in stock. PM me for the info.
