can anyone get there hands on a UK evo ix rear bumper with the rear fog light and ship it to the us????? i need one

Try the UK Evo Forums...I saw one on there for sale w/ fog light (it was an UKDM 8 tho)

 

Good luck with that as most of the IXs come with the fog light built into the taillight, and if you do find one be prepared to pay.

 

I'm in the UK. Give me a part number and I'll call a dealership.

 

There won't be a part number cause it is a custom fitted part. When UK Evos are imported they have the light fitted at another company. You just cant buy the bumper. So your gonna have to find a crashed Evo with the rear in good condition or someone crazy enough to sell you theirs.

 

So why is this a preferred alternative to the standard JDM 9 bumper?

Damn, I was hoping we could have some kind of import-export business dealings...well, maybe not since US currency is practically worthless over here.

 

The UK actually gets JDM Evos and they don't need a fog light in Japan. A few of them are imported at Extreme and are fitting with the bumper thing but it cheaper to import it on your own than buy it from them.

A lot of the UK guys are going away from the fog light on the bumper thing cause...well it looks stupid. Most of them are putting a red bulb in the reverse light and did I.

Man i know you guys trying to be original, but that bumper is just pointless to have. Im sure its not for the looks.....

 

yea our currency is worthless now if i could find the part number i would just get it through AMS they said they could get it with the # i love that bumper it is sick i have always liked rear fog lights in the bumper and it is on the IX FQ 360. well if anyone can help that would be nice i have greg from GSC Motorsports working on it but he said he will do what he can. here is a picture
