EVO front turn signals

Has anyone else noticed that our EVO"S have the front turn signals in the headlight at the top amber part and the JDM on european EVO"S and the Ralliart all have theirs in the bottom ad the amber is switched.

I'm pretty sure the turn signal flasher is the lower corner. It's a clear area with an amber bulb. I'll have to double check. The top amber part is the parking light.

Clear parking lights

Yeah, I noticed that. I hate it but I did some mods on this. I made the lower lights my parking lights and did changed the bulbs to clear and the amber top my turn signal lights.

Take the front bumper out first. Then the headlights. All you wanna do is just switch the wiring that connects to the parking lights and turn signals of each side and use an electrical tape to insulate each wire. Change the amber bulb to clear bulb. You can get the clear bulb at any Autozone, Kragen, Pepboys, etc. Once you put the clear bulb on, put back the headlight and front bumper. You're done.

Can't you take out the headlight housing w/o taking off the front bumper?

Nope, the headlight has a bolt underneat that needs to be out and you can't take those bolt out while the bumper is on. I did mine about 30-60 minutes. All I can say is that you have to be patient in working with your car or else you're not gonna do the right mod.

Great job, solarxclipse. I'll do the same when I get mine. Do you have more pics than in your profile of the look at night?

Last request, I promise! I also noticed you rewired your fogs. Looks great--I did the same on my Teg.

What do they look like with the headlights on as well? I just want to compare to normal (courtesy AWDTurbo4):
