High the Kelvin the less output. 6000k worked great for me. They had the purplish tint to them.

I have a IX GSR with a JDM Headlight Fog + HID conversion.
Low beams: Philips Ultinon 6000K HIDs
Fogs: Xentec 3000K HIDs

Any HIDs with a rating of 3000K is yellow. You can get them anywhere. I got mine off eBay for $75 bucks :P.

Whole system with ballast and everything. You can't run HID bulbs without a ballast .

5000k is the highest you can go without sacrificing visibility, damn i wish i had yellow HID fogs how would i rig that up?

The lower the kelvin rating, the more visibility you'll get, so technically 3000K is the brightest you could go. Most car manufactures have 4300K in their cars stock I believe. To get yellow fogs, just get a 3000K HID kit and hook it up - easy! Most kits are plug n' play. If you want cheap HIDs, get the eBay brand like I have .
