The Unofficial Hid Thread
Let's see your HIDs. Tell me all about them. What K, what color, brightness, how well it works, how long it lasted or supposed to last, and at last, how you like them. I'll start, here's mine...
12K eBay HID bulbs...
So far, going on 3 months and I really like them. Not very bright, but luckly, we got fogs so no need for bright HIDs for me. Very colorful though, they shine purple and mixes really nice with the yellow fogs. It makes the projector look even better when the lights are on. They are sky blue. Of course, you can't see that in the pictures.

You guys do understand that any HID bulbs rated over 4300k result in a significant reduction in output lumens?
Hence, you're ruining your light output/visibility in favor of some blue/purple autozone-esque nonsense.
The color from an OEM HID setup (such as the one found on an IX MR) comes from the design of the projector/cutoff shield itself and has nothing to do with the bulb.

^^Same here. I still have to get mine re-adjusted. No matter how many times I try to adjust it, it just looks like it doesn't even move. My passenger side light is way higher than the other side!
