Alarm Light Location
Yea I'm debating the switch...but I'd rather it be automatic and from what everyone is saying even if it blinks for 7-days in the garage while I'm on vacation it won't do anything to the battery. If that's the case then I'll just let it run all the time.
It's my understanding the light has three wires (12V constant, 12V ignition and ground). This may be a stupid question but should I be adding a standard in-line fuse on either or both of these power wires??
I'm going to look into a switch if I can find an appropriate one at Radio Shack when I go looking for fuse taps (and maybe in-line fuses). Also what's the safest way to attach a wire to a wire? I'd rather avoid the twist and tape method.
Thanks again and sorry for the rookie-EE questions.
