to trim or not to trim

I had CBRD trim my rears. They look stock. You have to look upside down underneath the wheel well to notice. They also sprayed some kind of epoxy up there.
Maybe CHad can chime in to explain, but he recommended trimming over rolling.

I would say rolling them is easier as opposed to cutting them. You can rent the roller here:

I also had the guys @ CBRD trim my rear fenders to fit my wheels. I had a very lengthy discussion with Chad about the trimmer/rolling of the fenders. Chad's reasoning, which is very logical to me, is that on the Evo the rear fenders are double walled and when you roll them most of the time it puts a crease in the fender above where the fender flares out. Now, to the guy who said in the long run rolling is better I wanna know what your reasoning is for saying that. Like Jason's car you cannot even tell my rear fenders are modified unless you are upside down staring up at the inside of the fenderwell. To the OP they used an air tool with a cutoff wheel to do the cutting, but if you do it yourself make sure you get painters tape and tape the area around where you are cutting as to not burn your paint. Hope this helps.
