Yea I gotcha, looks could be deceiving!

 

On second thought, it might be the non-HID lights (as in: a regular Evo 9). EvoDave can paint the non-HID projectors to look like the Evo 9 HID's with the blue tint. That would explain why there are no fog lights.

 

The first time I saw one of those fog light caps in person I was like "...wtf is that?"

 

yeah they have no fogs. When i saw those on my friends car for the first time i thought he had projector fog lights!

 

fyi guys i just last night converted for the first time a non-hid headlight with hid foglights.....oem look completely

I as well just did this same thing, total pain in the rear but worth it if you have the time. And fyi the chrome, or black chrome piece on the IX that is in there is one solid piece, and the ones that are in the hid housing just have the hole cut out and the foglight reflector in behind the hole.

 

Nope it doesnt have foglights because its a 05-06 gsr and it looks like it doesnt have hids either
