Foglight bulbs

Does anyone know if you can match the foglight bulbs to the low beem HID headlights or what bulb it would take?

Now by match do you mean the same intensity as the low beam HID?If you are you would probably have to get some kind of 9006 bulb HID kit for the foglights.

Our evo low beam should be around 4300K to 4800K, the best choice would be install another 4300K to 4800K HID Kit on the fog light, or you could buy a pair of halogen bulbs from Piaa or Sylvania. I think those bulbs have the closest color matching beside HID.

I like the yellow look IMHO but the Sylvania Silverstars are pretty close to the HID's. Wish I could get the fogs to come back on automatically after I shut the car off and turn it back on.

OP, if you are going for matching the OEM HIDS, do not go higher than 5000k. OEM I believe it around 4500K.

03-04 hid's were standard i think. after 05 it became part of the ssl package if im not mistaken. or they might have been a stand-alone option. then in 06 it was also in the special edition package as well. my friend has a base model 9 and he has halogen reflectors not even projectors, and no fog lights at all...

- i was mistaken. my friend dose have projectors but with halogen bulbs not HID's...

My '05 SSL HIDs are slightly more white than the PIAA H11 4000k bulbs I just put in, closer than what you usually find with H11. I think stock HID is ~4300k
