Side Turn Signals

Has anyone considered sticking the side turn signal assembly (the signal closest to the doors) in the oven and baking it like you would with the headlight assembly? Only thing is that you would be baking it with a bulb inside but I don't think that would make a difference.

Also, has anyone replaced the dome and trunk bulbs with LEDs or any other differently colored bulb? If so, what are the specifications (socket type, etc) besides wattage, which is listed already.

Thanks in advance.

For anyone who's replaced their lowbeam headlight bulbs, perhaps you can help me out here? I cant for the life of me figure how to reach the back of the bulb assembly to actually unscrew and remove it. I'm probably missing something very obvious here but cant hurt to ask.

Open your manual, and it shows you how to remove the large plastic cover and the intake tube that is hiding where you need to get to.....It is just a serious of clips, just be careful.

Unfortunately I havent found this section covering removing the cover & intake or maybe I just missed it. All I found was the section showing just how to unscrew the bulb and thats it.

I'll check again though, thanks for the info bro

Well, since it is sealed so the bulb can be protected from the weather, baking it would soften the sealant and you would be able to take the cover apart to access the bulb. Many have done it to their headlight assembly in other cars to install angel eyes and such.

Again, I am talking about the side turn signal, not the front side marker inside the headlight.

What kind of bulbs do you guys recommend for the headlights? Are the Sylyania bulbs the best?
