Mitsubishi Evolution X at the Tokyo Auto Salon
i cant see the new evo X being able to handle alot of power, considering the internals suck nuts...made by hyundai for christs sake, they really need to put out some numbers on one so we can see what the stock motor can handle
As much as I dislike the X, the aluminum engine block is in a lot of super cars and its producing some large numbers so I wouldn't write it off plus the new X turbo charger gives about 20% more power than the 9 from what I've be reading and this is in stock form, I doubt we have anything to worry about power wise, its just a shame its looks are like a Mazda6 slept with an Audi A4 and had a retarded looking love child.

Difference of $3,000.00. Very reasonable when doing a side by side.
Yes, they have refined it. But does being a smoother car make it a bad car? Does adding the options to keep up with the ever so changing technology market bad? People want these options. Most reviews have cheered this new X. Even the tests have proved to be a great machine. Only difference is straight line. Which this car was not designed to just do. Its just an easy test from marker A to marker B. The real tests which involve braking, corner entry and exit, slalom, turning multiple laps. Tracking these numbers are the key.
When comparing this to my current car (not a IX) this is a killer deal. Look how much more this car has out of the box. A lot more technology everywhere in the car. From the AWD w/AYC, to better audio w/6-disc, FAST KEY, etc ect....Stock for stock, its better all around. Remember, I am comparing this to my current VIII. Don't misunderstand me, I am not comparing a current IX.
The Evolution X is our future, and I am really impressed.
I do not want to argue over this. This was my oppinion.
