some shots of my 600hp EVO 1
just a small update, got pretty much everything done engine wise, still needs a few minor things but that should be sorted soon i hope. Also have an issue with the starter not working, i think its something wrong with the wiring between the ignition barrel and the motor, the starter works when i tested it off the car but when you go to crank it on the car nothing happens :ermm: it has power and the grounds are fine, any ideas whats wrong? Got the new wheels on today, i wasnt too keen on them when i ordered them, main reason i decided to go with em was because they were the size i want (17x8) and there arent many options available in 4 stud. But seeing them i nthe flesh ive changed my mind, they look tuff im happy with them  just need to get the alignment sussed, at the moment theres zero camber in the rear so the tyres are sticking out the guards a bit lol. Anyway some teaser pics of the wheels, ill take some good ones once i get new wheels nuts an an alignment.

Nice and the new wheels are my favorite
... and it looks like a sleeper and still looks stock on the out side I like that and its so clean.. Nice man

Thanks for the comments everyone. Unfortunatley after finally firing up the motor for the first time since April, the fking head gasket is leaking oil, its a very slow leak but a leak all the same.
To say i was spewing/angry/upset doesnt even come close to how im feeling. Just when i think nothing more can possibly go wrong i get kicked in the ***** once again, absolutley gutted
ive tried to seal it from the outside but i doubt thats going to work for too long if at all, so ill let that set and maybe fire it up in the morning and see what happens. Either way it needs to be pulled and redone, bummer.
in this pic it is leaking between the head and the gasket, ive sealed it up with 3 bond lol. Im sure i'll be pulling the head tomorrow...

heres the only other pic i have of the new wheels.
hmmm, checked the headstuds and fired it up, seems to be ok now. huh.gif
Put the radiator in,filled it up and everything looks ok. Coolant came up to temp, fan kicked in, all good lol.
Wonder how long the 3 bond will last, i put ****loads in there and let it cure for 36 hours, im amazed it did anything at all. Obviously im going to keep an eye on it and check it religiously, spoke to the engine builder and their happy for me to bring the car back to redo the head at any time if I want or if something happens.
lol

If you do have to pull the head again Id use Copper spray on the gasket. Ive had fantastic luck with ever since it has been recommended to me.
It wouldnt be bad to retorque studs one more time even if it does seem ok now.
