some shots of my 600hp EVO 1
Welcome to the wonderful world of DSM T-cases. I have done something similar to my IX case though
Tomorrow when I get home I will find some of the pics of DSM cases we have windowed. It looks more like the output twisted and whipped the tailshaft off...but a clip would end up allowing the same thing to happen I spose.

supose i should update.
just ported the oil bypass valve.
before

some grinding

after cleaning and assembly

swapped the valve springs to supertech duals, didnt really need to but i wanted to make sure i had enough spring for the rpm. Used the Euro Export tool that i borrowed from 1jum2nv, was pretty straight forward but a bit slow at first as i havent done this before. Once you get the hang of it you fly through them, took me a good 4 hours to get it done. I got quoted $850 from a well known evo workshop to do it, they can jam that

compressing the spring

use a magnet to remove the locks

removed the retainer, spring, seat and washer. remove the seal

new seat in

seal

inner spring

outer spring and retainer

then recompress the spring and install the locks. repeat X15 lol

and done
