Polishing/Cleaning up Titanium
I recently got a used APR radiator cover made out of Titanium and appears to have oxidation or what looks to be oxidation and is dirty.
Any suggestions on cleaning this piece up?

No metal polish is good for titanium guys!!!!!
Basically what the METAL polish does is it scratches the crap out of what you put it on, and then you polish it, or at least try to and take away the scratches. But that works on METAL and other materials, NOT TITANIUM. If you like the BLUEness of your titanium pieces I suggest not using any metal polishes.

Some stainless steele polishes (waxy or liquid) will work, and can be had from any major automotive/retail store (wallmart even). Brand names include Zam, Simi chrome polish, Blue Away, and others. Some car waxes or even toothpastes with fine abrasives work well too. If there is scratching you could wet-sand with 400-600 grit paper and WD-40 (not water). That is the official way to polish Ti. It will polish to a mirror finish. Remember though that essentially no polish is good for any metal. It does break down the pieces in layers. Occasionally it is alright to do.

I don't know if this helps, but I actually used ScratchX on my titanium radiator plate...It had a few scuffs and fine scratches and the scratchX did the job...I also used an eraser for some of the scratches/scuffs prior to the scratchx treatment...Worked out nicely.
