Official VOLTEX Picture Thread!
I only recommended Battleship Gray because:
1) Its subtle, unlike Teal or Purple
2) The teal looks like **** on a Lamborghini, why would it look good on an Evo?
3) You can easily sell the car when painted somewhat of a normal color like this.
4) Its completly different than GG (this is non-metallic)
5) I'm 30 years old, if I was 18 I would suggest every flourescent color out there.
6) Its classy. I'm not looking to impress high school kids or car show judges.
7) It looks good in the engine bay AND on the exterior.
8) If you see it in person, its awesome.

another great blue would be this one

if your ever by the lambo dealer in denver and have time/want to see the flat blue in person i belive they still have it on the lot. a lot of people didnt like it but i loved it
itzcharlez^ That is looking good and I love some of those Engine bay goodies
Damn you man
No you got me thinking that color
I think I need to just stick with my Blue I originally wanted.
Love both the cars But I would have to take the Ferrari over the Lambo any Days
I am getting ready to paint a Friends Yamaha R1 Satin White
I am not a fan of "flat" white it just looks like faded paint or cheap or crappy
It needs to have some shine to it so the satin finishes look better I think and that lambo is Satin finish too and looks good
Nobody has done Battleship Gray on an VIII/IX.
I think it would look amazing
Possible choices:
Lamgorghini Grigio Telesto
Ferrari also makes a similar non-metallic gray, but I can't remember the name.
Its a great classy color that you wont get sick of, and it wont be hard to sell down the road.

haha sorry man i thought i hit you back on your last pm. i can't keep up with this site. there's like 5k post per day lol. working on some stuff for the car. getting more serious about getting the car prepped for redline so i have an aero consultant on board now and we're working on some things. also still waiting on the motor. it's been gone since oct. when we had some issue during our last event of the year. hoping to get that back soon. and shep just went through the box so that's in good shape. hopefully we'll see a bit of coverage once everything gets back together and out on track again.
