Hey anyone with the ARC radiator cooling plate on their Voltex front bumper? I just layed it on top and it looks like I need to trim the bumper? Is that correct?

I don't have any before that I can find but I can show you how it looks cut and almost ready.

I still need to mount the Reap bumper back on and make the new mounting place and cut that spot but for the most part is about 2" or so cut out for added room. You can go more than that but I feel that it was safe here because I can still attach the inner fender to the outer quarter. I Glue Bonded them together after prepping

Last pic to show how wide my 17x10 sit right now and planning to do something around a 18x11 in the future

Okay he did it the same way and cut away the rear mounting tab and is making a new mounting point.

So well see soon. Also shaving the rear quarter pieces and reinforcing them alittle.

this is what i did. basically same as evoiv showed.
i had already moved the front mount point of the bumper rearward so i could get the fender to roll smoother...

man all that cutting makes me nervious to be honest lol. you can mount those things without cutting anything and get the widebody look correct. lol get some to mount when im at car shows would be very cool just to put on then take right off

The issue is that you can't run as wide of a wheel without cutting the quarter panel. Of course if you have a good bodyshop to cut and pull your quarters to fit a 10" wide wheel, then you could just slap on the wide fender. The other thing would be how to take off and put on the overfenders easily, since they mount with double sided tape and rivets
